Job Description
BlueCrest is seeking Field Service Technicians to travel to client sites and provide technical support for high-volume printing and mailing systems. This position is responsible for performing diagnostics, repairs, preventative maintenance, system upgrades, and equipment installations at client facilities.
\nTechnicians are expected to independently troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues, coordinate with internal support teams for complex problem resolution, and ensure service delivery aligns with contractual and performance standards.
\nRequired Qualifications
\n- \n
- Minimum of 2 years of experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing complex electro-mechanical systems in a customer-facing environment. \n
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and/or electronic systems, including the use of diagnostic tools and schematics. \n
- Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced, service-oriented setting. \n
- Valid driver's license. \n
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods. \n
- Proficient in basic computer operations, including the use of service software, reporting tools, and mobile devices. \n
Preferred Qualifications
\n- \n
- 4+ years of hands-on experience servicing high-volume printing, mailing, or similar industrial equipment. \n
- Familiarity with PLCs, sensors, motors, and other automation components. \n
- Experience working in a client-embedded or field service role with minimal supervision. \n
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users. \n
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and/or alternate shifts with minimal notice. \n
- OEM certifications or technical training in relevant equipment or systems is a plus. \n

As an Onsite/Field Technician you have:
\n- \n
- A minimum of 1 years' experience trouble-shooting and repairing complex mechanical equipment. \n
- Strong experience working on electro-mechanical equipment \n
- A minimum of two years proven experience in building and enhancing Customer relationships. \n
- A valid driver's license is required. \n
- Must maintain reliable transportation to travel to and from customer locations \n
- The ability to perform frequent lifting and/or moving items up to 50lbs. Are you able and willing to do this with or without accommodation? \n
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and/or different shifts as needed with minimal notice \n
