What You'll Do\n

As a Dental Assistant II, you'll be a key member of our dental care team by:

    \n
  • Assisting dentists during a variety of dental procedures
  • \n
  • Preparing treatment rooms and patients for care
  • \n
  • Taking and processing digital intraoral and panoramic radiographs
  • \n
  • Educating patients on oral health, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions
  • \n
  • Maintaining sterilization and infection control standards
  • \n
  • Managing dental laboratory cases and records
  • \n
  • Coordinating schedules and supporting clinic operations
  • \n
  • Participating in community outreach events, screenings, and wellness programs
  • \n
\n

Once certified as an Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA), you'll have additional opportunities to expand your clinical skills and responsibilities.

QualificationsRequired\n

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • \n
  • Oregon State Certificate of Radiological Proficiency
  • \n
  • Current CPR Certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
  • \n
  • Ability to obtain Oregon Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) Certification within six months of hire
  • \n
Preferred\n

  • Previous dental assisting experience
  • \n
  • Strong communication and patient-service skills
  • \n
  • Ability to work effectively with patients of all ages and backgrounds
  • \n
