Our community health center is seeking a Gynecologist to become a member of our staff providing high-quality, patient-centered women’s health and surgical gynecologic care for patients in both the critical access hospital and rural health clinic settings. This GYN-only role focuses exclusively on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of gynecologic conditions, offering essential specialty services to a rural community with limited access to women’s health care.

Key Responsibilities:
\n- \n
- Outpatient Care (Rural Health Clinic) \n
- Provide comprehensive women’s health services, as well as diagnose and manage gynecologic conditions. \n
- Perform office-based procedures including colposcopy, cervical, endometrial, and vulvar biopsies, and LARC placement/removal \n
- Coordinate care with primary care providers, behavioral health and other specialists \n
- Inpatient & Surgical Care (Critical Access Hospital) \n
- Provide inpatient consultations for gynecologic issues and emergencies \n
- Perform gynecologic surgeries within the capabilities of the CAH (e.g., hysteroscopy, D&C, laparoscopy, hysterectomy where appropriate, cyst removal and pelvic floor procedures \n
Collaboration & Quality

- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to enhance continuity of care \n
- Contribute to community women’s health education and outreach programs as appropriate \n
Qualifications & Skills
\n- \n
- MD or DO, with completion of an ACGME-accredited GYN residency or GYN-focused training \n
- BC or BE in Obstetrics & Gynecology (GYN-only practice focus) \n
- Valid State of Kansas medical license; current BLS and ACLS certifications \n
- Rural healthcare experience preferred but not required \n
- Commitment to compassionate, accessible care for underserved rural populations \n
