Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (LDRP RN) – Sidney, MT
\nLocation: Sidney, MT
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights (6:45 PM – 7:00 AM)
Schedule: 12-hour night shifts
We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (LDRP RN) to join a busy Obstetrics department in a Critical Access Hospital. This role involves providing compassionate, high-quality care to mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and the postpartum period in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
\nKey Responsibilities:

- Provide comprehensive care for laboring patients, postpartum mothers, and newborns. \n
- Perform labor triage assessments and non-stress tests (NSTs). \n
- Serve as the second nurse during deliveries and assist with overflow patient care. \n
- Collaborate with physicians, pediatricians, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver exceptional patient-centered care. \n
- Monitor and manage patients experiencing complications during pregnancy, childbirth, or postpartum recovery. \n
- Educate and support patients and families throughout the childbirth experience. \n

Requirements:

- Must be labor-trained. \n
- Active RN license. \n
- Current NRP, STABLE, and Intermediate (or higher) Fetal Monitoring certification required. \n
- Previous Labor & Delivery experience preferred. \n
