📍 Mt. Pleasant, MI | 🗓️ 13 Weeks | ⏱️ 36 hrs/week | 🌙 Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
\n Seeking an experienced OB/GYN Registered Nurse to provide exceptional nursing care for obstetric and gynecologic patients in a collaborative hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills in women's health and labor & delivery while working closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team.
\n Responsibilities:
\n Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care for OB/GYN patients
\n Collaborate with physicians to develop and carry out patient care plans
\n Provide bedside nursing care and administer treatments and medications
\n Monitor maternal and fetal conditions and respond to changes promptly
\n Delegate and supervise support staff while ensuring quality patient care
\n Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions
\n Maintain accurate clinical documentation using the EMR
\n Requirements:
\n Active Michigan RN License
\n Minimum 2 years of OB/GYN experience
\n Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
\n AWHONN certification (issued within the last 2 years)
\n Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
\n Assignment Details:
\n 13-week assignment
\n 36 hours per week
\n Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
\n Weekends, holidays, and on-call required as needed
\n Hospital-provided scrubs
\n Cerner EMR
\n 118-bed acute care hospital
\n Local and travel candidates accepted (local rate applies within a 35-mile radius)
Patterns Hiring Job ID #68894-0801. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
