Description\n

American Traveler is hiring a night-shift RN for a Labor & Delivery/LDRP position requiring NM or compact RN licensure and NRP certification.

Details\n

\n
• Work in the LDRP unit of a hospital setting
\n
• Provide care to laboring, delivery, recovery, and postpartum patients
\n
• Perform various point-of-care testing procedures
\n
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
\n
• Full time, 13-week assignment
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active RN license in New Mexico or current Compact state license
\n
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NRP (all AHA)
\n
• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
\n
• Clinical experience appropriate to the LDRP patient population
\n

Additional Information\n

\n
• Coordinate and implement individualized patient care plans based on age-specific needs and assessments
\n
• Reassess patients systematically to identify progress and trends requiring intervention
\n
• Participate in patient and family health education and discharge planning
\n
• Document timely interventions and evaluate the effectiveness of care plans
\n
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility for the travel pay rate
\n
• Candidates who previously worked at any CHRISTUS Health facility (non-travel) must have a 6-month separation period before being eligible for this travel assignment
