American Traveler is hiring a Labor and Delivery RN with recent EPIC and Cerner experience for a day shift position in California.

  • 36 hours per week on day shift, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
  • \n
  • EPIC and Cerner EMR proficiency required
  • \n
Requirements\n
    \n
  • Active California RN license required
  • \n
  • BLS certification required
  • \n
  • ACLS certification required
  • \n
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
  • \n
  • BSN preferred
  • \n
  • Acute care facility experience preferred
  • \n
  • Recent and proficient experience with both EPIC and Cerner EMR systems required
  • \n
Additional Information\n

  • Deliver coordinated nursing care to assigned Labor and Delivery patients following established standards and the nursing process
  • \n
  • Supervise and direct various levels of nursing staff while coordinating care with other disciplines
  • \n
  • Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnoses and care priorities
  • \n
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, coordinating care delivery to promote health and safety
  • \n
  • Evaluate patient progress toward expected outcomes and adjust care as needed
  • \n
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to provide safe, healing, and compassionate care
  • \n
  • Provide patient and family education and participate in discharge planning for continuity of care
  • \n
  • Appropriately delegate and coordinate duties among healthcare team members
  • \n
  • Located in a hospital setting known for its Magnet designation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center
  • \n
  • Accepts local candidates with no radius restrictions
  • \n
  • Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off may be automatically declined
