This ER RN travel contract is ideal for a fast-paced, team-oriented nurse with Level I Trauma experience and strong emergency nursing skills. Job Requirements\n
    \n
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent registered nurse experience required
  • \n
  • Previous Level I Trauma experience required
  • \n
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required at time of submission
  • \n
  • Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
  • \n
  • Experience with Cerner electronic health record preferred
  • \n
  • Strong skills in triage, dysrhythmia interpretation, IV starts, and central line care/management
  • \n
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced emergency department and manage variable patient acuity
  • \n
Responsibilities\n
    \n
  • Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
  • \n
  • Perform triage and prioritize care for incoming patients with urgent and emergent needs
  • \n
  • Monitor, assess, and stabilize patients in a busy Level I Trauma environment
  • \n
  • Interpret dysrhythmias and respond appropriately to changing patient conditions
  • \n
  • Start and maintain IV access and assist with central line care/management as needed
  • \n
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support safe, effective care
  • \n
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record
  • \n
  • Deliver compassionate care while maintaining efficiency and strong attention to detail
  • \n
