Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Rapidly assess patients' conditions and assign Emergency Severity Index (ESI) triage levels upon arrival \n
- Provide immediate life-saving interventions and stabilize critical and trauma patients \n
- Administer necessary medications and carry out physician-ordered treatments in accordance with established protocols \n
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure timely and appropriate patient care \n
- Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff, providing direction and supervision as needed \n
- Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing continuing education and adherence to the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies \n

- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Missouri \n
- Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department nursing experience \n
- Current ACLS, PALS, BLS, NIHSS, and SAMA certifications (or equivalent) \n
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR \n
- Demonstrated critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership skills in an emergency care setting \n

- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification \n
- Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification \n
- \n
- Work in a 24-bed Emergency Department with a structured patient ratio of 1:4 (general) and 1:1–2 (trauma), supporting a focused and manageable care environment \n
- Immediate start available with a 13-week contract offering stable scheduling on a consistent midshift \n
