Job Description
\nAn MRI Technologist is responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans to help physicians diagnose and monitor medical conditions. They ensure patient safety, produce high-quality diagnostic images, and operate MRI equipment according to established protocols.

Required Experience & Skills
\n- \n
- Hands-on experience with Philips and Siemens MRI scanners is highly preferred.\n
- \n
- Candidates without Philips and Siemens experience will not be considered, unless they have 7+ years of MRI experience (limited exceptions). \n
\n - Experience or 'Must have' skills: Experience with devices and 1.5T equipment. \n
- Proficient in performing MSK, Neuro, and Body MRI studies. \n
- Ability to start IVs and perform creatinine blood draws. \n
- Ability to produce high-quality diagnostic images while following MRI protocols. \n
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR and Synapse PACS is preferred. \n
Special Information:- Call outs are strongly discouraged and could lead to termination -May be asked to precept, as needed by the unit -First to Float between College Station and Bryan campus (16 minutes apart) as needed.
\n Shift Note: 5x8 Day shifts (M-F 7:30 start + required call - 30-minute response time)

Candidates may not have been directly employed (full time, part time, or PRN) by any facility associated with Common Spirit, including CHI and/or Dignity within the past year. Candidates who were employed PRN through outside firms will be considered.
