• 11-bed L&D/Postpartum unit

• Core staffing of 4 RNs per shift

• C-sections performed on the unit (OR team scrubs and circulates; OB RN provides maternal and newborn care)

• NRP
\n
• AWHONN Basic Fetal Monitoring

Patient Ratios

• Labor: 1:1

• Postpartum: 2–3 couplets per nurse
