American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Skilled Nursing Facility night shift position requiring prior charge experience and Epic EMR proficiency.

• Patient ratio of 1:10 on all shifts
\n
• Night shift schedule of 5x8 hours from 23:00 to 07:00

• Weekend coverage required on an every-other-weekend (EOW) basis

• Floating required as needed
\n
• Uses Epic EMR system
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active NY RN license required in hand
\n
• Current BLS certification required
\n
• Minimum 1 year of recent nursing experience required
\n
• Previous charge nurse experience required
\n
• Prior travel nursing experience required
\n
• Epic charting experience required
\n

Additional Information\n

\n
• Provide direct patient care within a long-term care (LTC) skilled nursing facility setting
\n
• Responsibilities include wound care, medication administration, IV therapy, and monitoring of chronic conditions across cardiac, respiratory, neurological, endocrine, and genitourinary systems
\n
• Skilled nursing duties include pressure ulcer prevention and staging, catheter care, tube feedings, and specialty bed management
\n
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
\n
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be considered
\n
• Previous employees may be considered for return after a 6-month system-wide waiting period
\n
• Candidates with more than 10 days of requested RTO will not be considered
\n
