Yard Operations Coordinator

\nThe Yard Operations Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the terminal yard and equipment in it.\n
\n
\nResponsibilities:\n

\n
• Collaborates with departments to ensure truck issues are solved and recovered.
\n
• Tracks trucks and maintains all necessary reports to communicate with other departments across the company.
\n
• Maintains daily and accurate inventory of tablets.
\n
• Conducts daily audits of yard equipment with no discrepancies.
\n
• Inspects all trucks for damages and cleanliness.
\n
• Demonstrates high resource utilization.
\n
• Monitors and responds to emails in a timely manner.
\n
• Maintains cleanliness of the yard.
\n
• Rearranges and organizes equipment in the yard.
\n
• Collaborates with guards to maintain yard security.
\n
• Reports and escalates issues to terminal manager.
\n
• Conducts inspections of minor maintenance of equipment, both tablet and mechanical.
\n
• Assists with driver training.
\n
• Accurately enters information into AS400.
\n

Qualifications:\n

\n
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
\n
• Class A commercial driver license (CDL)
\n
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
\n
• Experience in a motor carrier operation.
\n
• Basic knowledge of North American geography.
\n
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite or related software.
\n
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain strong attention to detail.
\n
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
\n
