\nThe Director is responsible for planning, organizing, directing and managing resources. These responsibilities include: budget responsibility; efficient/effective resource utilization; recruitment and \n
\n effective/efficient management of assigned staff; achieving quality outcomes; performance improvement; monitoring of quality and \n
\n quantity of services; maintaining positive working relationships with staff and System departments and managers, and purchasing and \n
\n maintaining equipment.Completes established competencies for the position \n
\n within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned\n
\n
\nMINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university\n
\nPREFERRED EDUCATION: Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in Nursing, Business or\n
\nRelated Field\n
\nMINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 5 years acute care experience. \n
\nPREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 3-5 years progressively responsible management experience.\n
\nREQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Possession of current Texas State license for Registered Nurse\n
\nPREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE:\n
