\nNumber of Staff – 40
\nType of staff:
\no Day Shift – 1 Charge/ CNC; 4-5 RNs/LPNs, 2-3 NAs
\no Night Shift - 1 Charge/ CNC; 4-5 RNs/LPNs, 2-3 NAs
\nPatient Ratios – SD/ICU 2-4:1; Med-Surg: 5-6:1; 2-3 PCT on floor as appropriate
\nType of equipment - IV pumps, SCDs, Nova Stat glucometer, wound vac, Baxter feeding pump, Lift equipment as appropriate, Pyxis (nurses only)
\nEMR -Cerner
\nTypical hiring profile
\nSkill Set Most recruited for:
\n \nMust have
\nAll RNs must have BLS, ACLS completed prior to end of orientation
\nPCT/NAs are required to have BLS
\nPreferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.
\nRNs with ICU/Stepdown experience
\nStaff with 1 year med/surg experience is preferred
\nList typical procedures performed on unit(s):
\nIV starts , CVL, Arterial lines
\nFoley catheters
\nEKG monitoring
\nWound care
\nBest personality Fit:
\nAble to function in a fast paced, ever-changing environment. We care for all levels of care here at TRH-med/surg to ICU.

\n \nUnit Guidelines/Policies : Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.
\nAcute Care utilizes a Team-Based Care model. All care providers, from MDs, nurses, case management, pharmacist and PT/OT meet daily to discuss patient/care/treatments and discharge needs.
\nWeekends and On call
\nWeekend rotation, 3 Monday and Friday per 6 week scheduling . Holidays per staffing matrix.
