Description\n

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a CCU float pool position requiring a compact RN license, EPIC experience, and 2 years of critical care experience.

Details\n

• Hospital-based CCU position with float pool responsibilities
\n
• Float pool assignment covering CCU, MS/tele units, and Rehab as needed
\n
• Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts (19:00-7:30)
\n
• Every other weekend (EOW) work required
\n
• Weekend and holiday coverage required as needed
\n
• No on-call requirements
\n
• Uses EPIC EMR system
\n
• May involve care for COVID-positive patients
\n
• Facility maintains a tobacco and fragrance-free environment
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active RN license (Compact or PA required)
\n
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
\n
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
\n
• 1+ year of charge nurse experience preferred
\n
• EPIC charting experience required
\n
• Cardiac monitoring and emergency response skills
\n
• Experience managing dysrhythmias
\n
• IV therapy proficiency
\n
• Arterial line management experience
\n
• Central line care and management skills
\n
• Ability to titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips
\n
• BiPAP/CPAP management experience
\n
• Care of ventilated patients
\n
• Suctioning skills (ETT, NT)
\n
• Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE protocols
\n

Additional Information\n

\n
• Provide critical care nursing services across CCU, MS/tele, and Rehab units as census needs dictate
\n
• Manage cardiac and vasoactive drip therapies for critically ill patients
\n
• Deliver respiratory and thoracic care including ventilator management
\n
• Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract
\n
• Candidates living within a 50-mile radius are considered local and may be offered a lower rate
\n
