American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Nurse Manager for a Chemo/Immunotherapy department, requiring an active AK RN license and prior supervisory experience.

- Hospital-based position overseeing a Chemo/Immunotherapy department \n
- 13-week assignment with Monday through Friday day shifts \n
- Guaranteed 40 hours per week \n
- Oversight of clinical operations, staffing, budgeting, and department performance \n
- \n
- Active, unrestricted AK RN license required at time of submittal \n
- BLS/ACLS certification required; PALS and NRP preferred \n
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred \n
- High school diploma or GED required \n
- Minimum 5 years of professional nursing experience required \n
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a staff RN in immunotherapy/chemo required \n
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory or management experience required \n
- Flu vaccine required \n
- Experience with EHR systems required as a super user \n
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Access, and Word required \n

- Oversee nursing operations, staffing, and budget management for the assigned department \n
- Coordinate new staff orientation, preceptor selection, and ongoing staff performance evaluations \n
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as Joint Commission and CMS requirements \n
- Able to assume the role of Acting Chief Nursing Officer in the CNO's absence when needed \n
- Participate in Nurse Executive Committee meetings and departmental goal setting \n
- Address employee and patient concerns in collaboration with Human Resources and hospital leadership \n
- Able to step into direct patient care roles as needed based on department demands \n
- No RTO permitted during the initial 13-week contract \n
