Description\n

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for an ICU position requiring MT or compact RN license and current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

  • Work in the Intensive Care Unit of a hospital setting
  • \n
  • Night shift, 12-hour shifts
  • \n
  • 3 shifts per week, 36 hours per week
  • \n
  • May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
  • \n
  • May be required to take on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
  • \n
  • Uses Epic for clinical documentation
  • \n
Requirements\n
    \n
  • Active MT or compact RN license required
  • \n
  • ASN required, BSN preferred
  • \n
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from AHA required, must not expire prior to start
  • \n
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in the ICU specialty required
  • \n
  • DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
  • \n
Additional Information\n

  • Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical duties in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards
  • \n
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient nursing care
  • \n
  • Monitor and review therapy and treatment plans
  • \n
  • Provide patient education and counseling as needed
  • \n
  • Refer patients for further evaluation or treatment when necessary
  • \n
  • Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
  • \n
  • No block booking of RTO will be approved
  • \n
  • Former Intermountain permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for this assignment
