Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a combined Med Surg/ER position at a Critical Access Hospital requiring CAH experience and a ND or compact RN license.

• , combabilities including inpatient, observation, and swing bed care
\n
• Cross-trained role covering both Med Surg and Emergency Room simultaneously
\n
• 12-bed inpatient capacity with 10 med/surg beds plus outpatient rooms
\n
• Cares for inpatients, outpatients receiving infusions or treatments, and emergency room patients
\n
• Uses Epic for computerized charting and barcode medication scanning
\n
• 12-hour night shifts
\n
• Every other weekend and holiday required
\n
• 36 hours per week
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active RN license (ND or Compact) required
\n
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
\n
• 2-3 years of Med Surg and/or ER experience preferred
\n
• CAH (Critical Access Hospital) experience required
\n
• BSN not required
\n

Additional Information\n

\n
• Provide comprehensive care across both Med Surg and Emergency Room settings
\n
• Navy blue scrubs required
\n
• Candidates must badge in and out at the facility
\n
• Local candidates within 80 miles may be considered at an adjusted rate
\n
• Previous Sanford Health employees must have an end date at least 6 months prior to submission
