Position Summary:\n
\n
\n Provides direct patient care to pediatric through geriatric patient populations. Uses unique knowledge and skills to contribute to perioperative patient outcomes that are defined as observable or measurable physiological, psychosocial and psychological responses to perioperative nursing interventions. Communicates and collaborates with surgeon(s) and the anesthesiologist continuously regarding the patient's condition. Assists with the maintenance of surgical equipment and inventory. Obtains supplies for individual cases, ensures that operating room equipment is available and functioning, and that all appropriate needs of the patient and surgical team are met. \n

Required: Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred\n
\n
Experience/Skills\n
\n
\nMinimum of recent six (6) months of OR RN experience required; two (2) years recent perioperative nursing experience preferred\n
\n
Licenses/Certificates/Credentials\n
\n

• Current California Registered Nurse License
\n
• Current BLS certification for Health Care Providers (AHA certified)
\n
• Certification in specialty preferred
\n
