\n Full Time
\n Monday - Friday 8a - 4p ( but with the flexibility to fill day shifts)
\n Experienced Mammography technologist in stereotactic biopsies, breast interventions, and diagnostic exams.
\n NJ DEP Xray License
\n ARRT Verified in Mammography
\n Primary Source Verification
\n BLS
\n Up to date with 15 Current Mammography CE's.
\n 8 hours of 2d and 3d Documented training
\n Documented specific training in Stereotactic Biopsies
\n Compliance with MQSA standards MG Exams
\n References PreferredDuties:

Job Summary:
\n Performs mammographic procedures according to state, federal and department standards and guidelines. Reviews patient records and ensures all pertinent information is completed and available for Radiologist. Performs mammographic examinations, bone density and breast biopsy procedures with a high standard of accuracy in positioning and technical factors.

Job Responsibilities:
\n -Practices universal precautions and aseptic technique to prevent cross contamination.
\n -Practices National Patient Safety Goals, obtaining a minimum of two patient identification factors.
\n -Adheres to all department policies and procedures.
\n -Able to work independently and possess strong critical thinking skills.
\n -Maintains a responsive/respectful relationship with staff and patients.
\n -Assesses and responds to patients' physical and sociological/psychological needs.
\n -Explains all procedures in a clear and concise manner.
\n -Understands and respects cultural differences.
\n -Demonstrates PRIDE values.
\n -Demonstrates working knowledge of all department equipment.
\n -Performs and completes all computer functions (i.e. Epic, PACS) in an accurate and timely manner.
\n -Maintains required licensure and CME's per MQSA.
\n -Practices ALARA.
\n -Maintains cleanliness of assigned work area and equipment.
\n -Ensures assigned area is properly stocked with adequate supplies and required materials necessary to perform procedures.
\n -Must adhere to site-specific dress code requirements.
\n -May have call and holiday rotations as required by the site.
\n -Assists with training and mentoring of new team members or students.
\n -Works with leadership to ensure all annual competencies are completed in a timely manner.
\n -Adheres to all system requirements, policies, procedures, and guidelines.
\n -Effectively maintains all licenses and certifications, including any CE requirements.
\n -Utilizes all system clinical communication tools.
\n -Annual pledge of Image Wisely.

Preferred Skills & Experience:
\n -One (1) year of experience in Mammography.
\n -Proficiency in Epic and Sectra PACS and can be obtained during training/introductory period.
