Your ScheduleMonday & Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Tuesday, Thursday & Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
What You'll TreatYou'll work with a diverse orthopedic caseload including:
- Post-operative orthopedic patients
- Total joint replacements
- Neck and back pain
- Manual therapy patients
- General musculoskeletal conditions
- Sports rehabilitation
As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you'll work closely with Physical Therapists to help patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and return to the activities they love.
Responsibilities include:
- Deliver evidence-based physical therapy treatments
- Provide one-on-one patient care
- Assist patients through individualized rehabilitation programs
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and home exercises
- Document treatments using EMR
- Collaborate with therapists to achieve outstanding patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
QualificationsRequired
- Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current Maryland PTA license
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- One year of outpatient orthopedic experience
- Manual therapy experience
- New graduates with strong orthopedic clinical rotations are encouraged to apply
