American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN Case Manager for an ortho unit role requiring a MA RN license, BSN, and CCM certification.

  • Work in the Case Management department, primarily on an ortho unit within an acute hospital setting
  • \n
  • Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • \n
  • Weekend rotation required every 3rd weekend
  • \n
  • Union facility with no special scheduling accommodations; must be able to work all 7 days
  • \n
  • Uses Epic for charting
  • \n
Requirements\n
    \n
  • Active MA RN license required
  • \n
  • BLS certification required
  • \n
  • BSN required
  • \n
  • CCM certification required
  • \n
  • 3-5 years of RN experience required
  • \n
  • Acute care experience required
  • \n
  • Epic charting experience preferred
  • \n
  • Must pass a Pass/Fail Tele test during orientation with an 80% passing score and only one attempt allowed
  • \n
  • Must pass a Pass/Fail Medication exam at orientation
  • \n
  • Two references required for consideration, with at least one from a Nurse Manager or higher
  • \n

  • Responsibilities include care coordination, discharge planning, needs assessment, and DME ordering
  • \n
  • Follows CMS and HIPAA regulatory guidelines
  • \n
  • Completes pre-start and orientation modules, with pre-start modules taking approximately 1-2 hours
  • \n
  • Local candidates accepted within a 75-mile radius at the same bill rate
  • \n
  • Returning staff must have a 12-month separation from the health system
  • \n
  • Up to 14 days of RTO can be submitted for review, with no RTO allowed during the first week
  • \n
