Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Mother-Baby / Couplet Care / Post Partum position requiring 3 years of acute care experience and C-EFM certification.

Details\n

\n
• Work in a 27-bed Family Center unit specializing in couplet care, newborn assessment, and antepartum services
\n
• Care for Postpartum, Newborn, and Antepartum patient populations
\n
• Float to Labor and Delivery to support LDRP needs, excluding triage and circulating duties
\n
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours (19:00-7:30)
\n
• Rotating holidays and weekends required, block scheduling cannot be accommodated
\n
• No on-call requirements
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active RN license, MD or Compact license in hand at time of submission, no exceptions
\n
• Current certifications: BLS, C-EFM (Antepartum RN), and NRP required
\n
• Minimum 3 years of RN acute care experience required
\n
• Antepartum and EFM experience preferred
\n
• Antepartum/postpartum cross-training expected
\n
• Previous travel nursing experience required
\n
• Charting system experience required (any system)
\n

• Provide comprehensive care across antepartum, postpartum, newborn, and couplet care settings
\n
• Support labor and delivery services as needed through floating assignments
\n
• Located approximately one hour from both Baltimore and Washington DC
\n
• Smoke-free facility

• Proof of residency must match candidate's licensure
\n
• No radius rule for this facility, local travelers accepted at the same rate as travel candidates
\n
• RTO must be submitted with application and will be reviewed on a per-case basis
\n
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
