MediPro is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Torrance, California.

Minimum of two (2) years of recent PCU nursing experience in a Level 1 Trauma Institution in a metropolitan city with a diverse population
\n Certifications: CA RN license, AHA BLS, MAB or CPI, LA Fire Card
\n Provide an intermediate level of care for patients who are not stable enough for a general medical-surgical floor but do not require the full intensity of an ICU.
\n Patients commonly include those recovering from major surgeries, but not limited to, serious medical conditions such as renal failure requiring dialysis and/or kidney transplant, oncology therapy, or those transitioning out of the ICU after stabilization.
\n The PCU is equipped for close monitoring, often including telemetry for dialysis, kidney transplant observation, frequent vital sign checks, and rapid response to changes in condition.
\n RNs will provide continuous cardiac monitoring, frequent assesment of patient status, administration of medications and IV therapies, wound care, and pain management.
