\n Number of Staff: Varies on volume, clinical coordinator for all specialty service lines
\n Type of Staff:
\n Rooms are staffed with 1 tech 1 RN or 2 RNs
\n Patient Ratios: 1:1
\n Type of Equipment: Robotics, Spine, Vascular
\n Documentation System: Meditech
\n Call Requirements: On-call is required of 1-2 shifts during the week and 1 weekend shift per 4-week period. Must be able to Scrub and a circulator that knows all service lines. Rotating weekends are a possibility.
\n Typical Hiring Profile
\n Must have: (candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role)
\n ACLS, BLS
\n 2 years current experience in acute OR setting, ortho, spine and joint replacement experience
\n Knee and Hip replacement experience
\n List Typical Procedures Performed on Unit(s):
\n Joint replacement, ENT, Ortho, Spine, Urology
\n Vascular, Podiatry, Thoracic Surgery and Plastic Surgery
\n Additional Preferences: (ex: previous travel experience preferred, easily adaptable to fast paced unit, can function well independently)
\n PALS, CNOR any Charge experience
\n RN is responsible for the observation, assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation of care of all patients
\n proficient charting, multi-tasking, critical thinker, excellent bedside manner
\n Dress Code:
\n OR scrubs provided by the unit
\n Awards/Recognition: Feel free to include items such as links to videos that feature the department, outstanding department/team awards, etc.
\n 228 bed Joint Commission and designated top performing hospital since 1980
\n Certified primary stroke center, Blue Distinction Stroke Center and specializing in surgical programs including Open Heart, 24 hour adult and pediatric ER, orthopedics, robotics, women s services and rehabilitation
