Seasonal Event Staff (Cashiers & Prep) – Taco Palenque at Frost Bank Center

Location: Frost Bank Center – San Antonio, TX
Pay: $20.00 per hour Schedule: Seasonal 2–5 events per week Approx. 6 hours per event
Language Requirement: 100% Bilingual (English & Spanish REQUIRED)
Environment: Fast-paced, high-volume, event-based work

About the Role

Taco Palenque is hiring Seasonal Event Staff to support operations at the Frost Bank Center. We are looking for energetic, bilingual team members to work in Cashier and Prep roles during concerts, games, and special events. This is a great opportunity for anyone seeking extra income in a fun, fast-paced environment.

Positions Available- Cashiers

• Take customer orders quickly and accurately
• Handle cash and operate POS system
• Provide friendly, efficient customer service
• Maintain a clean and organized front counter area

Prep Staff

• Prepare food items following Taco Palenque standards
• Support cooks with prepping, assembling, and restocking
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures

General Responsibilities (Both Roles)

• Work efficiently during high-volume event rushes
• Communicate clearly in both English & Spanish
• Maintain a professional and positive attitude
• Follow company policies, food safety, and cleanliness standards
• Arrive on time and ready to work for each event

Qualifications

• Must be 100% Bilingual (English & Spanish)
• Experience in food service, cashiering, or prep preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work evenings/weekends
• Able to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks as needed
