Position Summary

Lillie Mae's Cajun Kitchen is seeking experienced and dependable Prep Cooks to assist in preparing fresh ingredients while maintaining our high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vegetables, meats, seafood, and other ingredients.
• Follow recipes and portion standards.
• Label, date, and properly store food.
• Assist line cooks during busy meal periods.
• Maintain clean and sanitized prep stations.
• Rotate inventory using FIFO procedures.
• Receive and organize deliveries.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness throughout the shift.
• Follow all health department regulations.
• Perform additional duties assigned by kitchen management.

Qualifications

• Restaurant experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Dependable with excellent attendance.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Must be able to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous serving experience preferred but not required.
