Assembler / Tester

Now Hiring: Mechanical Assembler / Tester in Cedar Rapids

Shift: 8am - 4:30pm | Mon-Fri

Pay: $18.25 / hour

Remedy is currently seeking a dependable Mechanical Assembler / Tester for North America's largest distributor of Fluid Power & Motion Control Solutions. This is a hands-on role requiring a strong understanding of fluid power systems, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to quality.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling and testing systems and components to ensure they meet performance and safety specifications.  

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Assist with installing and removing fittings
• Complete basic assembles and testing
• Place Products on Pallets for Storage
• Box and Prep units for shipments
• Pull orders or put orders away
• Audit PO's as kits come in to verify part quantities
• Clean Up building (Mop, Sweep, Take out the trash, break down boxes and stack empty part totes)

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in hydraulic system testing or related mechanical testing environment. 
• Production Assembly, Technical and Mechanical experience.
• Proficient with hand tools, gauges, and test instruments
