Laboratory Technician - Now Hiring

Our client, the Asphalt and Roofing Industry, is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join their team. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be part of the technical support team supporting asphalt testing and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range:

Shift: Evenings (01:00-03:00)

What's the Job?

• Participate actively in teams delivering technical solutions impacting asphalt and roofing products.
• Support asphalt testing processes, including rotational viscosity, penetration, and flash testing.
• Ensure compliance with ASTM and AASHTO laboratory test methods and maintain testing certifications.
• Collect, analyze, and report data accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and operational environment while supporting calibration, maintenance, and inventory management.

What's Needed?

• A two-year technical, lab, engineering, or science associate degree with 1-3 years of relevant experience, or a high school diploma with similar experience.
• Good basic computer skills, including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with lab equipment and maintenance.
• Ability to lift at least 45 lbs and work in elevated temperature environments.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
