Process Development Engineer - Now Hiring

Our client, a leading food manufacturing and innovation company, is seeking a Process Development Engineer to join their team. As a Process Development Engineer, you will be part of the Global Toppings, Creams, and Culinary Solutions Center of Excellence (TCCS COE) supporting the Research, Innovation, and Compliance (RIC) team). The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, independent problem‑solving ability, and strategic thinking which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title:Process Development Engineer
Location: Buffalo, NY
Pay Range: $40–$62/hour
Duration: Temporary assignment scheduled through January 1, 2027

What’s the Job?

• Apply engineering methods to problem solving and project execution
• Support product innovation and process optimization
• Provide technical leadership to cross‑functional teams
• Align project work with broader business strategy
• Research and execute innovations in equipment and process systems

What’s Needed?

• Bachelor’s degree in Food, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering (Master’s/Ph.D. considered but not required)
• 5+ years experience in industrial/applied research
• Demonstrated success in product/process development or experimental design
• Experience with manufacturing facilities and equipment specification
• Strong communication skills including presentation capabilities
