Stockroom/tooling polishing

Our client, a manufacturing organization specializing in precision tooling and stockroom operations, is seeking a Stockroom/tooling polishing professional to join their dedicated team. As a Stockroom/tooling polishing specialist, you will be an integral part of the operations team supporting inventory management, order picking, replenishment, and receiving processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Stockroom/tooling polishing

Location: LYNCHBURG, VA

Pay Range: $19.00 to $20.00 an hour

Shift: 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

What's the Job?

• Assist in stock control and inventory management to ensure accurate tracking of materials and tools.
• Perform polishing of tooling and stockroom items to maintain quality standards.
• Support cleaning and organization of the stockroom environment.
• Participate in receiving operations, including verifying and documenting incoming supplies.
• Pick and prepare orders for production or shipment as needed.

What's Needed?

• Basic knowledge of stock control and inventory procedures.
• Ability to perform polishing and cleaning tasks with attention to detail.
• Willingness to perform casual labor tasks as required.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality for scheduled shifts.
