Mechanical Electrical Assembler - Now Hiring

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking dedicated Mechanical and Electrical Assemblers to join their dynamic team. As a Mechanical or Electrical Assembler, you will be an integral part of the production department supporting the assembly of conveyors, machines, and subassemblies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Mechanical or Electrical Assembler

Location: LYNCHBURG, VA

Pay Range: $19 - $20 per hour

Shift: Monday to Friday working 7:00 am to 3:30 pm (or 6:00 am to 4:30 pm when working overtime)

What's the Job?

• Assemble conveyors, machines, and subassemblies following blueprints, schematics, and technical instructions
• Use hand and power tools to fabricate and install conveyor parts, ensuring quality and functionality
• Inspect parts for proper machining finish and dimensions
• Diagnose equipment issues and test equipment for performance and reliability
• Maintain safety standards and work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

What's Needed?

• 2-5 years of experience in mechanical or electrical assembly
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals
• Proficiency with basic hand tools and power tools
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Reliable work ethic and attention to detail
• Ability to pass background and drug screen
