Retail Sales Associate

A Retail Sales Associate plays a key role in delivering outstanding customer service and driving in-store sales. Working under the guidance of an Area Sales Manager within a small team, this role supports customers by providing product knowledge, handling sales transactions, merchandising, and maintaining the store environment. Regular weekend shifts are a requirement to meet customer demand during peak hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive assistance to customers and answer product-related queries
• Process sales transactions accurately using point of sale systems
• Merchandise products effectively to enhance store presentation
• Handle cash and maintain proper cash register procedures
• Keep up-to-date with product knowledge to inform customers
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor
• Identify opportunities for upselling and promote relevant products

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in retail sales
• Strong customer service orientation
• Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems and cash handling
• Effective communication and sales techniques
• Ability to work well within a small team environment
