Location: Suffolk, VA
Shift: Shift A: Sun - Wed 6am - 4:30pm

Shift B: Wed - Sat 6am - 4:30pm

Tidewater Staffing is currently hiring 20 Material Handlers for a busy logistics and distribution facility. This is an excellent opportunity for dependable individuals seeking steady second shift work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight safely and efficiently.
• Perform inbound and outbound material handling duties.
• Stack, stage, and organize products within the warehouse.
• Label, sort, and prepare shipments for storage or distribution.
• Move materials throughout the facility while maintaining accuracy.
• Follow established warehouse procedures and best practices.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work area.
• Work effectively as part of a team to meet daily production goals.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or material handling experience preferred.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials throughout the shift.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical work for extended periods.
• Dependable attendance and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
