Job Description
Join a collaborative structural engineering team where you'll gain hands-on experience designing commercial and institutional buildings while working alongside experienced Professional Engineers. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the structural design and analysis of building projects under the guidance of licensed Professional Engineers.
- Prepare engineering calculations, construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Support the development of structural plans using AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis software.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout project delivery.
- Participate in site visits, field observations, and construction administration activities.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes, engineering standards, and project requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering with a structural emphasis.
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification or successful completion of the FE Exam (or actively pursuing certification).
- 0–3 years of structural engineering experience (internships and co-op experience are welcome).
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis software is preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills with a desire to learn and grow in a team-oriented environment.
This position provides mentorship from experienced engineers, exposure to a wide variety of structural projects, and a clear path for professional development and future PE licensure.
