Ramp Deicing Agent (JFK Airport)

• RAMP DEICING AGENTS (JFK Airport)
Starting Pay: $21.75/hr.

Job Duties:
• Perform deicing services on commercial aircraft
• Inspect aircraft for frost and ice on wings, fuselage, and tail
• Apply deicing fluids (Type I and IV)
• Drive and operate heavy vehicles near aircraft during deicing
• Track and record usage of deicing fluids
• Conduct daily quality control checks on equipment and vehicles
• Use headset/radio for communication with ground and flight crews
• Follow all safety procedures and company protocols
• Provide additional operational support as needed
• Adhere to uniform and attendance standards

Requirements:
• Valid driver’s license
• Must be able to work at heights up to 25 feet or more depending upon aircraft
• Willing and able to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to lift 50–70 lbs.
• Experience with heavy vehicle operation preferred but not required.
