About the Position

We’re looking for an experienced diesel mechanic to become a key part of our in-house maintenance team. This is not a dealership job and it’s not flat rate. You’ll work on a diverse fleet of heavy trucks, construction equipment, and trailers, helping keep equipment running and minimizing downtime.

What You’ll Work On

● Class 8 diesel trucks

● Dump trucks

● Belly dump trailers

● Lowboy trailers

● Excavators

● Dozers

● Loaders

● Skid steers

● Agricultural equipment

● Hydraulic systems

● Air brake systems

● Electrical diagnostics

● Preventive maintenance

● Welding and fabrication (preferred but not required)

Every day is different, and you’ll have the opportunity to troubleshoot a wide variety of mechanical and electrical issues.

Responsibilities

● Diagnose and repair diesel engines and drivetrain components

● Perform preventative maintenance and inspections

● Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and air systems

● Repair brakes, suspension, steering, and trailer systems

● Keep accurate service records

● Maintain a clean and organized work area

● Help identify maintenance needs before failures occur

● Work safely while protecting company equipment and property

Qualifications

● Several years of diesel mechanic experience preferred

● Ability to diagnose problems without relying solely on parts replacement

● Experience with heavy trucks and off-road equipment

● Own basic hand tools

● Valid driver’s license (CDL is a plus)

● Welding and fabrication experience is a plus

● Ability to lift 75 pounds and work in indoor and outdoor environments
