Diesel Technician Truck/Trailer

Mechanic Job Duties

• Responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair on all types of trucks and trailers
• strong attention to detail during routine services
• ability to change truck and trailer tires- training available
• truck and trailer service/ preventive maintenance
• Keep paperwork updated and handed in upon completion
• Ability to obtain class B or A cdl

Mechanic Position Requirements

• Valid Driver's License
• Must posses a good work ethic, a positive attitude and be reliable
• Must possess an excellent understanding of truck and trailer chassis including brakes, steering, wheel ends, lighting and electrical, heating and cooling
• ability to use computer OEM diagnostic Software's
• Other mechanical skills desired: Hydraulics, Manual Transmissions and drive train, automatic transmissions, welding and fabrication.
• Must be physically able to lift and work with no restrictions
