Make a Difference in the Classroom
Allied OneSource Education is seeking dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessionals (Levels 1, 2, and 3) to support students and educators during the 2026-2027 school year in the Kansas City, Kansas area.
As a Paraprofessional, you will work alongside teachers and educational teams to provide academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and developmental support to students across a variety of educational settings. Opportunities are available in both general education and special education classrooms at the elementary, middle, and high school levels.

Essential Responsibilities
- Support students in classroom, small-group, and one-on-one learning environments
- Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and instructional activities
- Reinforce academic concepts and classroom expectations
- Support students' behavioral, social, and emotional development
- Assist with accommodations and modifications outlined in student learning plans and IEPs
- Monitor student progress and communicate observations to teachers and support staff
- Help create and maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
- Prepare classroom materials and assist with daily classroom routines
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, therapists, and other support personnel
- Provide personal care and mobility assistance when required by the assignment
Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working in a classroom, educational, childcare, youth development, or related setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
Preferred
- Paraprofessional certification or district-required qualifications
- College coursework in Education, Child Development, Psychology, or a related field
- Experience supporting students with disabilities or diverse learning needs
- Experience working in special education settings
- Knowledge of classroom management and behavior support strategies

- Placement level determined by previous classroom experience and qualifications
