Women's Shelter Seeking Overnight Security Advocate 

2 Part-Time shifts available:

Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 pm-6:00 am

Monday and Tuesday, 10:00 pm-6:00 am

Overview

Women's shelter seeking an Overnight Advocate with an empathetic presence for those reaching out during late-night hours. You’ll be the bridge between urgent situations and the resources that can change lives.

What You'll Do

  • Handle hotline requests received during overnight hours.
  • Enter statistical data.
  • Draft professional letters to our supporters.
  • Document nightly interactions.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or higher preferred.
  • Overnight shift experience required.
  • Understanding of the criminal justice system preferred.
  • Excellent customer relations experience essential.
  • Exceptional written communication skills.
  • Experience in advocacy, customer support, crisis response, or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to document information accurately.
  • Comfort working independently during overnight shifts.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure.
