Join a Professional Fleet Maintenance Team

We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic with a strong background in fleet maintenance, heavy trucks, industrial equipment, or construction equipment.

This is NOT an entry-level automotive technician position. We are looking for mechanics who have diagnosed and repaired complex diesel systems in a commercial fleet, heavy equipment, transportation, industrial, or construction environment.

If your experience is primarily limited to passenger vehicle dealerships, this position is likely not the right fit.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines using electronic diagnostic software and scan tools
• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, fuel, air, cooling, and emissions systems
• Perform advanced engine diagnostics and electronic fault tracing
• Repair hydraulic pumps, cylinders, valves, hoses, and related components
• Diagnose CAN Bus and electronic control systems
• Perform preventative maintenance and major component repairs
• Repair brakes, steering, suspension, driveline, transmissions, and HVAC systems
• Read wiring diagrams, service manuals, and diagnostic flow charts
• Document repairs and communicate findings professionally
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area

Qualifications

Required

• 5+ years of diesel mechanic experience in a fleet, heavy equipment, industrial, trucking, or construction environment
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
• Experience with computerized diagnostic software
• Hydraulic troubleshooting and repair experience
• Electrical diagnosis experience
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation
• TWIC Card (or ability to obtain one)
• Must be DISA drug screen eligible

Preferred

• ASE Medium/Heavy Truck Certifications
• Cummins, Caterpillar, Detroit, Paccar, International, Volvo, Mack, or similar OEM experience

Compensation & Benefits

• $30.00–$40.00 per hour depending on experience
