Legal Services Sales Specialist

Job Type: Full-time
Base Salary: $60,000 per year, plus commission

Help People Make Important Decisions

The Keller Firm is a growing litigation law firm seeking an experienced sales professional who can confidently convert qualified prospective clients into retained clients.

Every conversation will involve an individual or business facing a significant legal challenge. Your responsibility is to understand the prospective client’s needs, explain the firm’s services and engagement process, address concerns, and confidently guide qualified prospects toward making a decision.

This is a performance-driven sales position. Success will be measured primarily by conversion rate and revenue generated, along with accurate reporting and compliance with the firm’s sales procedures. This is not an administrative, customer-service, or legal-advisory role.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct sales consultations with prospective clients by phone and video.
  • Build trust through thoughtful questions, active listening, and professional communication.
  • Determine whether prospective clients meet the firm’s established qualification criteria.
  • Clearly explain the firm’s services, fees, value, and engagement process.
  • Confidently discuss professional-service investments ranging from several thousand to tens of thousands of dollars.
  • Address objections related to cost, timing, competing firms, and uncertainty.
  • Ask qualified prospects to retain the firm and convert opportunities into signed engagements.
  • Follow up consistently using the firm’s structured sales process.
  • Maintain complete and accurate CRM records.
  • Provide timely pipeline reports, conversion data, and revenue forecasts.
  • Follow approved scripts, pricing guidelines, intake procedures, and communication standards.
  • Coordinate with attorneys and the operations team to ensure a seamless transition from prospective client to retained client.
  • Meet or exceed monthly conversion and revenue goals.

How Success Is Measured

  • Qualified-prospect-to-client conversion rate.
  • Revenue generated from new engagements.
  • Achievement of monthly and quarterly sales goals.
  • Follow-up consistency and response time.
  • Pipeline management and forecasting accuracy.
  • CRM accuracy and completeness.
  • Call quality and compliance with approved messaging.
  • Client experience and quality of the internal handoff.

Qualifications

Required

  • At least three years of consultative sales experience.
  • Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong objection-handling and closing skills.
  • Experience managing a structured sales pipeline.
  • Experience using a CRM platform.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organization, follow-through, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to report sales activity and results accurately.
  • High emotional intelligence, sound judgment, and professionalism.
  • Ability to work independently and remain accountable for results.

Preferred

Experience selling legal services, professional services, financial services, real estate, mortgage or title services, or high-value consulting services is strongly preferred.

Experience with HubSpot, Clio Grow, or a comparable CRM is a plus. Bilingual English and Spanish communication skills are also a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary of $60,000–$70,000, based on experience.
  • Uncapped commission opportunities.
  • Performance-based incentives.
  • Opportunity for top performers to earn well into six figures.
  • 401(k).
  • Health insurance.
  • Dental insurance.
  • Vision insurance.
  • Paid time off.
  • Flexible schedule.
  • Hybrid work arrangement.
  • Ongoing coaching and professional development.
  • Career-growth opportunities within a growing firm.

Our Culture

We value accountability, integrity, continuous improvement, and exceptional client service. We believe in doing what we say we will do, maintaining high professional standards, embracing technology and innovation, investing in our people, and winning as a team.

This Role Is a Great Fit If You:

  • Are motivated by measurable results and unlimited earning potential.
  • Know how to build trust and close high-value opportunities.
  • Are comfortable discussing fees and asking directly for the business.
  • Balance empathy with the confidence to lead difficult conversations.
  • Follow up consistently and maintain accurate records.
  • Welcome coaching, accountability, and clear performance expectations.
  • Want your professional growth and compensation to reflect your performance.

This Role Is Not the Right Fit If You:

  • Dislike having your performance measured.
  • Avoid discussing fees or asking for the business.
  • Struggle with consistent follow-up.
  • Need constant supervision to stay productive.
  • Are careless with CRM records or reporting.
  • Resist established processes or performance coaching.
  • Are looking for an administrative or customer-service position.

Important Role Boundaries

This is a sales position, not a legal position. The person in this role may explain the firm’s approved services, fees, and engagement process but may not provide legal advice, evaluate the legal merits of a matter, guarantee an outcome, change the proposed scope of representation, or modify fees without authorization.

The Keller Firm is an equal opportunity employer. Employment decisions are based on qualifications, demonstrated sales ability, performance, and the needs of the firm.
