Industrial Maintenance Technician - What You’ll Do
As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will keep the plant running smoothly by troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of electrical and mechanical factory equipment.
Troubleshoot & Repair: Identify, dismantle, and repair/replace defective electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
Advanced Equipment Support: Perform PLC and CNC troubleshooting, interpret schematics, and work with machine control circuits.
Machining & Fabrication: Set up and operate shop tools (lathes, mills, drill presses, grinders) to make or repair custom parts, including basic welding and simple fabrication.
Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine and predictive maintenance on manufacturing machinery.
Aerial & Facilities Maintenance: Execute repairs safely at elevated heights using ladders, scissor lifts, and boom lifts.
Collaboration: Read blueprints/schematics and work closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.
Industrial Maintenance Technician - What We’re Looking For
Education & Experience: Associate degree (A.A.) or technical school training preferred, OR 1–3+ years of related industrial maintenance experience.
Technical Skills:
Strong working knowledge of PLC and CNC troubleshooting.
Proficiency with electrical/electronic test equipment (multimeters, voltmeters, ammeters).
Hydraulics and pneumatics experience.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints and electrical schematics.
Familiarity with metalworking equipment, welding, and piping (PVC, copper, metal).
Physical Requirements: Comfort working at elevated heights in safety harness/gear and ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
