Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT with Jackson Therapy Partners! We’re seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve their daily skills while exploring a brand-new location.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
• BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC
• 2 years of previous OT experience required.
• Driver's License required.
• Must not have been employed by the client within the last 12 months.
• Must have own vehicle.

Assignment Details

• Schedule: Monday through Friday.
• Hours: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
• 40 hours per week.
• No weekend requirement.
• Coverage area includes travel within 50 miles of Fort Dodge.
• Average weekly mileage is 200 to 250 miles.

Location Highlights

Fort Dodge offers access to outdoor recreation and regional attractions in north central Iowa. Brushy Creek State Recreation Area is about 20 miles southeast of the city and features trails, boating, and fishing across more than 6,000 acres. Downtown Fort Dodge includes the Blanden Memorial Art Museum and the Fort Museum and Frontier Village, while Des Moines is about 70 miles south for additional dining, shopping, and entertainment. The city also sits along the Des Moines River and has a practical small-city setting with road access via U.S. Highway 20 and Interstate 35 within commuting distance.
