About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector for 3rd Shift to join our growing manufacturing team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring that parts produced meet customer requirements while maintaining compliance with company policies and safety standards.

✅ What You’ll Do

As a Quality Inspector, you will:

  • Perform required daily quality inspection rounds
  • Approve and hang first-piece samples
  • Complete daily audit sheets accurately and timely
  • Log lot numbers for components, materials, and concentrates
  • Perform fixture checks (where applicable)
  • Conduct color and gloss checks
  • Operate and use hand scanners for part verification
  • Support document control processes
  • Maintain strong shift-to-shift communication of quality concerns
  • Tag non-conforming parts/materials and communicate findings to supervisors
  • Verify parts to labels using scanners
  • Label parts for shipment
  • Write scrap tickets and submit to Quality Engineer
  • Create Master Labels
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas
  • Follow all safety rules and company procedures

This position may include additional duties as assigned by management.


What We’re Looking For

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 1–3 months of related experience and/or training preferred
  • Plastic Injection Molding experience is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and move plastic parts (typically under 10 lbs.)
  • Frequent standing and walking
  • Occasional pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching
  • Repetitive motion and gripping
  • Must comply with all required PPE and safety standards
