CMA / LPN - Orthopaedics Clinic | Great Pay + Standard Benefits

The CMA / LPN for the Orthopaedics Clinic at Monadnock Community Hospital in Peterborough, NH, plays a vital role in providing direct patient support within a stable weekday outpatient clinic setting. This full-time position, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, is ideal for experienced Certified Medical Assistants or Licensed Practical Nurses seeking a rewarding role in orthopaedics with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Schedule

• Shift: Days | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with patient examinations and procedures.
• Room patients and obtain vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration.
• Perform blood draws, injections, lab testing, and patient preparation.
• Maintain and update accurate medical records.
• Support patients before, during, and after appointments.
• Handle patient calls and provide instructions as directed.
• Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and equipment in an orderly manner.
• Support physicians and nursing staff with clinical tasks within scope of practice.
• Adhere to HIPAA, safety, and confidentiality standards.

Required Qualifications

• For CMA candidates: Completion of a formal Medical Assistant program (minimum 2 years) and active CMA certification.
• Minimum 3 years of Medical Assistant experience in a medical setting.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA).
• For LPN candidates: Active LPN license accepted with clinical/outpatient experience preferred.
• Current BLS Certification required for LPN candidates as well.
