Summary:
We are seeking a Vertical Machine Center Operator to join our team. This role is essential to ensuring precision and efficiency in the production of components.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare Vertical Machining Center (VMC) machines by selecting and installing appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials, and adjust machine parameters based on specifications and blueprints.
- Operate VMC machines to produce quality parts while monitoring machine performance and identifying operational issues.
- Conduct first-article, in-process, and final inspections to ensure parts meet quality and accuracy standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, tool wear, and programming issues.
- Maintain setup, adjustment, and maintenance records while coordinating production schedules and priorities with team members and following all safety procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T symbols preferred.
- Manufacturing certification, technical training, or similar hands-on work experience using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
- Knowledge of CNC machine operations and basic machine setup procedures.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to quality; ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform tasks requiring standing, bending, kneeling, manual dexterity, and visual accuracy.
