PPII Forklift Operator
PPII is searching for an experienced Forklift Operator for our Greenfield, Mo. location. This position requires qualified candidates to be safety conscious and able to perform the required functions in a productive manner, working with tight schedules and deadlines.
Location:
- Greenfield, Mo.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and Unload Trucks insuring products are correct and in shippable condition. Keep the warehouse clean and product in its correct location.
- Operate the lift in a safe and appropriate manner.
- Ship oldest products first (rotate all products).
- Secure all loads properly.
- Check in all inbound products for count and quality issues.
- Maintain daily forklift inspections and notify the Safety Manager or Plant Manager of any issues, tag out the lift until it’s repaired and back in proper working order.
- Report any unsafe conditions or practices to your shift foreman immediately.
- Help train new coworkers.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Must be able to lift 55 pounds.
- Must show the ability to work with other others.
- Demonstrate the ability to be able to learn new things.
- Must be able to speak, read and write English.
- Must be detailed oriented.
- Must have good math skills.
