Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Quality Engineer to support aerospace manufacturing operations by ensuring products consistently meet industry standards, government regulations, and customer requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced quality professional who enjoys solving complex manufacturing challenges, driving continuous improvement, and working cross-functionally to deliver high-quality products.
In this role, you'll collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Suppliers, and Customers to identify quality risks, improve processes, and support product and process qualification activities. Success in this position requires a strong understanding of AS9145/APQP principles, ISO quality systems, root cause analysis, and aerospace manufacturing environments.

Compensation- Pay Rate: $52.40-$62.01 per hour

- Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Suppliers, and Customers to ensure product quality and continuous improvement.
- Monitor and analyze production data, quality control systems, and critical manufacturing processes.
- Identify quality issues and implement solutions to improve performance.
- Lead root cause investigations and recommend corrective actions.
- Support product and process qualification activities.
- Assist with audits, failure analysis, and reliability testing.
- Generate reports related to nonconformance trends, root cause analyses, and corrective actions.
- Review and approve quality-related documentation changes, including ECOs, MCOs, and deviations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using data-driven methodologies.
- A quality professional with experience supporting aerospace or highly regulated manufacturing environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across multiple teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage priorities and drive quality-focused outcomes.
- 5+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer in an aerospace environment or similar manufacturing setting.
- Knowledge and experience with AS9145/APQP.
- Experience working with ISO quality systems.
- Demonstrated understanding of advanced quality engineering concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in Quality Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Experience supporting product and process qualification activities.
- Experience leading root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives.
- Experience supporting audits, failure analysis, and reliability testing.
- Experience managing nonconformance investigations and continuous improvement projects.
- On-site position in Auburn, California.
